As part of the visual design team of TedxTokyo, I had the opportunity to design motion graphics for the event. The graphics were used in the opening animation for each speaker, and for commercials on digital signage around the city.
Along the TedxTokyo 2014 theme of "Connecting the unconnected", I created a field of nodes which come together, and explode into a connected network.
Also for TedxTokyo 2014, I pitched an interactive installation idea to the TedxTokyo creative leads. This project later became the basis for subsequent marketing and promotion materials.
Along the TedxTokyo 2014 theme of "Connecting the unconnected", the team created a visualization which could collect twitter comments about each speaker and gather them into a constellation like arrangement of ideas.
Because of the small size of the TedxTokyo venue, an important part of the experience is the inclusion of remote participants and viewers. The installation was conceived as a way to give remote participants a voice in the main venue.
